Varga, Robert J.

Eric N. Van De Water has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since 1997. He received a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Vanderbilt University in 1993 and a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law in 1996. He attended Emory University School of Law as a visiting student from 1995-1996. Following law school, Mr. Van De Water served as a law clerk to the Macon Judicial Circuit for the Honorable Martha C. Christian and the Honorable Phillip S. Brown. Mr. Van De Water began his private practice in the area of general civil litigation, including insurance defense, commercial litigation, and medical malpractice defense.

For over twelve years, Mr. Van De Water has developed a commercial litigation practice with an emphasis on creditors’ rights and construction and real estate litigation. He helps clients resolve issues with business customers ranging from simple account collections to more complex contract disputes and suits to enforce lien or bond rights in connection with construction projects. He also assists clients with pre-litigation strategies as well as actions in the state, federal and bankruptcy courts of Georgia.
