Adela Ulloa is a seventh year attorney licensed in California, New York and Arizona. Adela received her BA from the University of California San Diego where she majored in Psychology and was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. An avid traveler, Adela spent her junior year studying in Granada, Spain where she learned to speak Spanish fluently.
After graduation Adela spent a year working for a criminal attorney in San Diego before starting at Loyola Law School Los Angeles. She happily supplemented her education with study abroad programs in Bologna, Italy, where she studied at the oldest university in the world, and Beijing, China where she studied at the Beijing School of Economics. Adela also worked as a law clerk for Professor Maynard in developing a business planning class.
Upon graduation in 2005, Adela began her career as a law clerk for Hamrick & Evans, LLP and immediately transitioned into an associate upon being sworn into the California Bar. Since the firm had a need for a lawyer in Arizona, Adela took the Bar exam and became licensed in May 2006. At the same time she acquired her California Real Estate Broker’s license.
Needing a challenge and growth opportunity, Adela took a job working directly with a 30 year business and real estate litigation and transactional attorney for year, during which she gained invaluable experience and the confidence to branch out onto her own. At this time she also passed the New York Bar Exam and acquired her New York Real Estate Broker’s license.
In July 2008, Adela moved to New York City and started the Law Offices of Adela Z. Ulloa, APC. She focused upon alternatives to foreclosure, civil litigation, estate planning and corporate formation. In addition, she spent time traveling, including substantial stays in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Beirut, Lebanon.
In June 2012, Adela moved back to Los Angeles temporarily in order to start the law firm of Hindoyan, Philips & Ulloa with her two friends Antreas and Karine. She intends to move back to New York City within the next year where the firm will be opening another office.
Adela is an avid traveler, foodie, advocate for gay and lesbian rights, and proud dog owner and lover.
