Valentine, Stephen K.

Stephen K. Valentine, Jr. is the principal of Valentine & Associates with its primary offices in West Bloomfield, Michigan. The practice consists of civil litigation, employment law, representation of sales representatives, business, personal injury matters and general civil practice.

Mr. Valentine is a member of both the State Bar of Michigan and of the Florida Bar Association, and is actively involved in practice in both states as well as other jurisdictions on a pro hac vice basis. He has represented clients in the United States and Michigan Supreme Courts and Courts of Appeal, as well as state and federal trial courts. He has also served on numerous professional committees, including the Michigan Supreme Court appointed Committee to Revise and Consolidate the Court Rules, and has served as a commercial arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and a mediator for private and judicially appointed mediation.

He has been listed in several Who's Who publications, including Who's Who in American Law on multiple occasions, Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers, and various other attorney rating and listing publications including carrying the "AV" Martindale Hubbell rating. In addition, Mr. Valentine has been a radio commentator and has lectured and written articles for various organizations and publications, including frequent contributions to the Society of Manufacturers Representatives Newsletter and Agency Sales Magazine, published by MANA. He is a member of numerous business and professional organizations, including the Manufacturers' Agents National Association, and served on the Board of Directors of the March of Dimes, Southeast Michigan Chapter.
