Mr. LaFave has extensively represented hundreds of clients in various legal matters. His primary focus has been Bankruptcy and Foreclosure Defense matters, however Mr. LaFave represents clients in a variety of legal matters, such as divorce, landlord/tenant issues and contract disputes.

Before founding the Law Offices of Andrew J. LaFave, P.A., Mr. LaFave was an Of Counsel Attorney with a law firm in Ft. Lauderdale, FL where he focused on Foreclosure Defense and Bankruptcy matters. In addition, he inserved as an Assistant Public Defender in Broward County, FL. During Mr. LaFave's entire legal career, he has vigorously defended the rights of homeowners, debtors, and individuals charged with a crime. He has been responsible for drafting motions, attending and litigating hearings, conducting and defending depositions, and attending trial. Mr. LaFave has gained extensive experience and he approaches each case with dedication and attention to detail.

During law school, Mr. LaFave was involved in the Rental Housing Clinic where he represented tenants in disputes with their landlords. In addition, Mr. LaFave won a Jurisprudence Award in Elder Law. Prior to Law School, Mr. LaFave worked as a Sales Manager and as an Engineer while earning a Master of Business Administration degree. These professional and educational experiences have given Mr. LaFave a unique perspective in his approach to practicing law.
