Ray Krueger has been a part of environmental law for 30 years. He practices with the Energy & Sustainability Group, which consists of environmental, real estate, construction and land use, as well as the Renewable Energy and Climate Change teams. Mr. Krueger also leads a sub-group focused on commercial solar developments. He is one of the founders of the Climate Change practice. He has counseled clients, negotiated settlements, litigated cases and lectured on many different environmental subjects over the years.

Mr. Krueger's renewable energy practice has recently focused on solar and biomass. Currently, he is representing the Jemez Pueblo in the first commercial scale solar project on Indian land in the United States. As part of the renewable energy team, Mr. Krueger is heavily involved in providing his clients strategic legal counsel throughout their project development with attention to power purchase agreements, finance, regulatory matters, real estate and legislative issues, as well as other business related concerns.

Mr. Krueger's practice has extended over the last twenty years into the visual arts, architecture, development and sustainability. He served as Chairman of the Georgia O'Keeffe Foundation in Abiquiu, New Mexico, for 20 years, a foundation dedicated to perpetuating the legacy of one of America's great artists. He currently serves as President of the Board of Trustees for the Milwaukee Art Museum and served on its Building Committee for the internationally acclaimed Santiago Calatrava addition to the Museum. Mr. Krueger has represented the noted international architect, Santiago Calatrava, in American and Canadian projects.

Mr. Krueger served as Chairman, by appointment of several Governors, of the Milwaukee River Revitalization Council, and continues as a director of the River Revitalization Foundation, which is establishing an urban parkway along the Milwaukee River. Fourteen years as an elected Village Trustee has provided insight into the operation of local government. For many years, Mr. Krueger has served as Chairman of the Whitefish Bay Community Development Authority.

Recent projects include: counseling developers of renewable energy projects; greenhouse gas emissions monitoring and reporting; state, regional and federal legislative developments and international developments in climate change; negotiating regulatory requirements and developing funding mechanisms for complex environmental clean-up projects; Brownfield redevelopment and related transactions; negotiating and litigating environmental insurance claims for policyholders against solvent and insolvent insurers both in the United

States and abroad; work with land trusts and Foundations in the preservation of significant lands for wildlife habitat.
