Raised in Orange County, Yolanda V. Torres graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a degree in Political Science. Ms. Torres earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2001.

Ms. Torres’ experience includes working as a certified law clerk for the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, where she received honors for her outstanding work performance. Shortly thereafter, Ms. Torres went to work for the Family Support Division of the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. Upon her admission to the California State Bar, Attorney Torres worked for a renowned law firm in Beverly Hills, handling celebrity divorce cases, before moving back to Orange County and opening her own boutique Family Law firm.

Attorney Yolanda Torres has dedicated her law practice to helping clients involved in Family Law matters. Working as a sole practitioner allows her to provide greater personalized assistance and support to her clients. Ms. Torres is an expert strategist and focuses on attaining the best outcome possible for her Family Law clients based upon the unique circumstances of each case.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Torres worked as a K-6 teacher. Her teaching experience has provided Attorney Torres valuable insight into children and the effects that divorce has upon them. All cases involving children are handled with special care, and the needs of the children are always taken into account in every aspect of the case.

Additionally, Attorney Torres is a licensed Real Estate Broker. Her experience as a Real Estate Broker has been extremely beneficial to her divorce clients as their cases pertain to property division and the division of real property assets.
