Dr. Russell Tonkovich is a counsel in the Litigation/Controversy Department, and a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group. He joined the firm in 2010.

Practice

Dr. Tonkovich’s practice focuses largely on complex patent infringement, unfair competition and other intellectual property related litigation. He has represented clients in a wide variety of industries including the biotechnology, medical device, cellular telephony, Internet, computer software and computer networking industries. Dr. Tonkovich has experience in coordinating inter partes and ex parte reexaminations of patents with ongoing patent infringement litigation. He has also advised clients regarding patent licensing and valuation.

Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Tonkovich was an associate in the Intellectual Property Department of a firm in San Francisco.
