Practice
Ms. Koyama represents hedge funds, other institutional investors and corporate clients in the negotiation of various derivatives trading and account agreements with their broker-dealer counterparties, including prime brokerage, ISDA, repurchase and stock loan master agreements and transaction documentation with respect to various equity, credit and fixed income derivative products.
Ms. Koyama also represents US and international underwriters and issuers in connection with public and private offerings of equity, debt and trust preferred securities.
While in law school, Ms. Koyama was a judicial intern with the Honorable Jack B. Weinstein of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
Prior to her legal studies, Ms. Koyama worked in the Public Affairs Department of the New York Center of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), assisting with US/Japanese trade-related issues. She had previously worked as assistant chief editor in the International Communication Department for JETRO in Tokyo, where she selected and edited articles for publication in How Foreign Media View Japan.
