Miriam B. Toledo-David has practiced law for more than ten (10) years with a concentration in labor and employment law. At present, she practices in the areas of wrongful dismissals, discrimination, wage and hour, workmen's compensation, constitutional rights, retaliation, sexual harassment and defamation. Ms. Toledo-David actively litigates before the Puerto Rico Courts' system, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, the First Circuit Court of Appeals, and before quasi-judicial administrative forums, such as the Anti-discrimination Unit and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

She is also a frequent lecturer at seminars to clients and the business community in the areas of employment law and wage and hour. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Psychology and her J.D. from the University of Puerto Rico. Immediately after law school, she joined the Labor and Employment Department of Goldman Antonetti & Cordova as an Associate, later joining Schuster Usera & Aguilo, LLP in 1996, where she attained Junior Partner status in October 2001. In November of 2003, she co-founded Velez-Rive & Toledo-David, P.S.C. In July of 2009, Ms. Toledo-David founded Toledo-David Law Offices P.S.C. Ms. Toledo-David is admitted to practice law before the Courts of Puerto Rico, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico. She is a member of the Puerto Rico Bar Association, the American Bar Association and its Sections on Labor and Litigation, the Federal Bar Association, the Association of Labor Relations Practitioners, and the Puerto Rico Notary Public Association.
