Valerie Neal Tipping is an associate in the Securities Department and a member of the Investment Management Group at WilmerHale. She joined the firm in 2006.

Practice

Ms. Tipping has worked with registered and unregistered investment companies, investment advisers, broker-dealers and other clients in the financial services industry on a variety of regulatory and compliance matters, including issues involving affiliated transactions, market timing, revenue sharing, "soft dollar" and other brokerage practices, performance advertising and the distribution of mutual fund shares. Ms. Tipping has also assisted clients with seeking no-action assurance from the staff of the SEC, preparing registration and proxy statements, and drafting compliance policies and procedures.
