Janet Todd has experience in a variety of real estate matters, from closing transactions, to handling claims, to adjudicating title disputes as a Fulton County, Georgia special master. With respect to transactional work, Todd has extensive experience in both commercial and residential work, including drafting of documents, preparation and issuance of policies, and conducting closings. Additionally, Todd has served as a court appointed special master in hundreds of quiet title proceedings, many stemming from tax sales. Thus, she has gained considerable expertise in the area of Georgia tax sale law and litigation. For the last six years with Diment Carroll LLP, Todd has worked closely with several title insurance companies, including Stewart Title Guaranty Company, Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company, Fidelity National Title Group, Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation, and Old Republic National Title Insurance Company, primarily leading the law firm's claims administration group in identifying, investigating, analyzing, and resolving title problems on behalf of the title companies and their insured lenders and owners.
