Ms. Tobaygo’s educational background includes an Undergraduate Degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida, and a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from Florida State University. She has resided in the Sarasota area most of her life, attended Pine View School, and is fluent in Spanish. Upon completion of her studies, Ms. Tobaygo went to work as an Assistant State Attorney in Sarasota County, where she worked as a misdemeanor and juvenile prosecutor for several years. Since leaving the prosecutor’s office, Ms. Tobaygo has practiced in the areas of civil litigation, insurance defense, family law, domestic violence and criminal defense. She currently handles all aspects of the firm’s family law matters, including but not limited to: dissolution of marriage and paternity actions; establishment or modification of child support, alimony, custody/timesharing; the defense or prosecution of contempt/enforcement actions; and relocation.
