Ben Tian's practice focuses on tax planning for international and US clients, including sovereign wealth funds, in connection with cross-border and domestic mergers and acquisitions, debt financing transactions, and private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge fund investments.  He also has been involved in the formation of tax-exempt organizations.  In addition, he has experience in tax controversy matters with the Internal Revenue Service and state tax authorities.
