Robert Thompson graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 2002 receiving his degree in political science and history. Mr. Thompson decided to attend law school at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa graduating with a Juris Doctorate in 2005.
While in law school, Mr. Thompson served as a law clerk for the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Iowa assisting the attorneys with various criminal matters. After graduation, Mr. Thompson moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to begin his legal career which has focused on insurance defense, contract disputes, landlord/tenant matters, and general litigation.
Before joining Kring & Chung in 2011, Mr. Thompson worked for a local insurance defense firm focusing primarily on construction defect defense and personal injury. Prior to deciding to go down the legal road, Mr. Thompson served two years in the United States Coast Guard."
Mr. Thompson holds extensive experience in the discovery and trial of complex construction cases venued in Las Vegas, NV. Mr. Thompson has argued before each of the construction panel judges of Clark County, and has built a solid reputation with our local panel of arbitrators and mediators as well.
