James Koblin focuses exclusively in the area of workers' compensation law. He handles all aspects of workers' compensation cases, including fighting for proper medical treatment and temporary disability payments, obtaining permanent disability awards, handling complex cases including death and cancer cases, and appeals of workers' compensation cases. Mr. Koblin has argued matters in the New Jersey Appellate Division and the New Jersey Supreme Court. He has lectured on aspects of workers compensation law. Mr. Koblin handled the appeal of Dennis Culbert vs. The City of Jersey City, 175 N.J. 286 (2003), and participated in the oral argument in the New Jersey Supreme Court in this matter and its companion, Lindquist vs. The City of Jersey City, 175 N.J. 244 (2003). These cases resulted in a dramatic expansion of workers' rights to compensation.
