Dan Terleckyj grew up, the son of an autoworker, in a blue collar neighborhood on the outskirts of Detroit, Michigan. He worked his way through college in a lumber yard, earning an undergraduate degree in English from Wayne State University in 2005. In 2009, he graduated from Wayne State University Law School earning his Juris Doctor degree. As a law student, Dan worked as an intern with the Free Legal Aid Clinic, representing indigent clients in the Detroit Metro area, and as an appellate clerk for the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office. Since being licensed to practice in Illinois in 2010, Dan has participated in the Chicago Bar Association’s DUI Summary Suspension Volunteer Program by representing indigent persons who petitioned the court in Cook County to overturn the statutory summary suspension of their driver’s license.
Dan joined the Klest Injury Law Firm as an associate in 2011, concentrating his practice in the areas of personal injury and traffic law.
