Lisette Taylor is a staff attorney in the Litigation/Controversy Department. She joined the firm in 2008.
Practice
Ms. Taylor focuses her practice on issues of e-discovery. Specifically, she works with other attorneys, litigation technology project managers, and paralegals on teams that manage electronic and other documents in large cases and investigations. Attorneys on these teams take a leadership role in the document control process, systematically tracking documents from preservation to collection and through review and production. They work with e-discovery vendors and their review and analytical tools; review documents; train and oversee other firm and contract attorneys who review documents; and partner with project managers to perform production quality control.
Ms. Taylor has direct experience with document review and analysis. Prior to joining the firm, she was a contract attorney for multiple firms in Washington, DC, where she provided first and second review of discoverable documents to determine confidentiality, responsiveness within the parameters of subpoenas and requests from opposing counsel. She also determined attorney-client and work product privilege for civil litigation and internal corporate examinations.
As a law clerk for a firm in Baltimore, MD, Ms. Taylor researched, analyzed and provided case support for personal injury, criminal law, family law, real estate, estate and trusts and medical malpractice cases with an emphasis on neonatal trauma.
