Timothy Kittle was awarded a Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2006, where he earned a CALI award in Evidence and Agency & Partnership. He also graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 1984. Additionally, in 2002 he was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he also received the Lee Davis Writing Award for his paper on religious liberty.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Mr. Kittle served for two decades as a law enforcement officer, beginning in 1985 with the Huntsville, Alabama Police Department, where he was named the Outstanding All-Around Cadet for the 27th Session. Additionally, he received two Meritorious Service Awards and the Madison County, Alabama District Attorney's Award in 1989. Mr. Kittle also served with the Metro-Nashville-Davidson Police Department, completing its lateral transfer police academy in 1992. In addition, Mr. Kittle served as a deep cover narcotics investigator and a Standards Boards of Alabama, Tennessee, and Wisconsin, in addition to being certified by the Oklahoma Council on Law as well as certification in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing and on the Intoximeter EC/IR and the Intoxilyzer 5000. Mr. Kittle's career in law enforcement has honed his skills in interviewing, investigating, and truth seeking. It has also given him insight and sensitivity to proper police conduct and the protection of the individual's civil rights.
Mr. Kittle previously held associate positions with Smith and Tabor, LLC in Dodgeville, Wisconsin and Keesling & Associates, PC in Tulsa. While he has worked in a variety of practice areas, his primary areas of focus are criminal defense, civil rights, and employment discrimination. Mr. Kittle is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Oklahoma, the Northern District of Oklahoma, and the State Bar of Wisconsin. He and his wife of 18 years, Rhonda, are proud parents of twin daughters, Rachel and April.
