Ms. Kinsman joined Ansa Assuncao in September of 2011 after summering with the firm in 2010. Ms. Kinsman’s diverse civil practice is nationwide in scope and includes the defense of personal injury claims as well as product liability and commercial disputes. Her representative clients include transportation, manufacturing, elevator and escalator companies for whom she defends wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury, and property damage claims.

Ms. Kinsman earned her J.D. from Penn State Dickinson School of Law in 2011. While at Dickinson, Ms. Kinsman was a Comments Editor for the Penn State Law Review and achieved the highest score in Penn State Law Review’s write-on competition. She was also a recipient of Penn State Dickinson’s Alumni Scholarship Endowment Fund and the CALI Award for the highest grade in Legal Analysis, Research & Writing.

During law school, Ms. Kinsman was a member of the Civil Rights Appellate Clinic, where she assisted in filing an amicus curiae brief with the Supreme Court of the United States in Rent-A-Center v. Jackson, docket no. 09-497. Ms. Kinsman completed a legal internship with the Honorable Thomas I. Vanaski, United States District Judge for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, now circuit judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the Honorable Pamela A. Ruest, in the Court of Common Pleas for the 49th Judicial District. She also served as a research assistant for Professor Michael L. Foreman. Ms. Kinsman was a member of the Women’s Law Caucus and a member of the LL.M. Mentor Program.

Ms. Kinsman earned her B.A., magna cum laude, in English and Secondary Education from Salisbury University in 2008. She was a presenter at the National Conference of Undergraduate Research and is a member of Lambda Iota Tau, English Honor Society, and Kappa Delta Pi, Education Honor Society.
