Mr. Kirby's practice focuses on defending businesses and individuals in a wide variety of litigation issues. He has experience handling products liability and personal injury cases to resolution. He also practices insurance and maritime/Jones Act litigation.
Mr. Kirby takes pride in aggressively representing his clients. He believes that successful representation begins with an informed attorney who understands the needs of his clients and who is capable of effectively communicating complex issues to those involved. Mr. Kirby, armed with the drive and desire to succeed, brings these characteristics to each of his clients.
Mr. Kirby earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Sewanee: The University of the South in 2006 majoring in cellular biology. He earned his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law in 2010. During law school, Mr. Kirby was the Managing Editor of South Texas Law Review where he was instrumental in transitioning the Review to a completely digital format, creating a more efficient editing process and a more environmentally friendly product. He was licensed to practice law in the State of Texas in 2010.
Mr. Kirby completed an internship at the fourteenth Court of Appeals working for Justice Jeff Brown while in law school. Following his licensure, he accepted a position with a well-respected litigation firm in Houston, Texas specializing in products liability litigation. Mr. Kirby is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas and enjoys membership in the American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, and Houston Young Lawyers Association.
