William Kingery, Jr. joined Dickstein Shapiro as an associate in 1981, and was elected to partnership in 1986. His practice is limited to tax law and includes domestic and international corporate transactions, mergers, and acquisitions; partnership taxation and project finance; taxation of mutual funds, REMICs, and financial institutions; tax aspects of refinancing and debt issues; tax controversies; and estates, gifts, wills and trusts. Mr. Kingery has extensive experience in the field of partnership taxation, acting as tax counsel on behalf of venture capital funds and domestic and international developers, electric power projects, and gas pipelines ranging in size from $5 million to $500 million. Mr. Kingery is a former Attorney-Advisor to U.S. Tax Court Judge William M. Fay.
