Matthew W. Kindel is an associate attorney with the firm practicing in all areas of family law. Prior to joining the firm, Matthew was an Assistant State Attorney for the 10th Judicial Circuit in Polk County, advocating on behalf of the people of the State of Florida for over three and a half years. While a prosecutor, Matthew tried numerous non-jury trials and over 40 jury trials, most of which were serious felony cases involving such crimes as Attempted Murder, Armed Kidnapping and White Collar crimes. He prosecuted and negotiated over 1,000 criminal cases.

Matthew now advocates for his family law clients, and uses his extensive litigation experience to recognize the strengths and weaknesses in his clients' cases and develop an appropriate strategy for both settlement and trial.

Matthew is a Polk County native. He received his B.S. in Political Science from Florida Southern College and his law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. His lives in Tampa with his wife and black lab, and enjoys golf and soccer.
