Tina Tabacchi is a general business litigator with experience in a broad range of federal, state, and administrative proceedings, including multidistrict and class action litigation and matters involving False Claims Act, RICO, and consumer fraud claims. She also handles pharmaceutical intellectual property and products liability cases, government investigations, internal investigations, and contract and licensing disputes. In addition, Tina has successfully resolved numerous matters through mediation or other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
Tina is currently acting as national counsel for a Fortune 10 client in connection with a series of state attorney general and private class action lawsuits. Tina has had substantial responsibility in the Firm's ongoing national representations of Abbott Laboratories and TAP Pharmaceutical Products in U.S. Department of Justice and state attorney general investigations and related federal, state, and multidistrict consumer class and individual actions. She also has defended, at the district court and federal circuit levels, numerous federal lawsuits involving allegations of patent infringement under the Hatch-Waxman Act, which regulates the intellectual property rights of pioneer pharmaceutical manufacturers and of generic manufacturers who seek to copy the pioneer drug without violating applicable patents. Tina counsels clients on compliance, contract, and licensing issues.
Tina also acts as the Firmwide Law School Hiring Partner and serves as a member of the Firm's Diversity Task Force.
