A natural advocate whose success is based in combining her analytical strengths with her passion for her clients: meet Jordan Sworen. Jordan has a diverse, well-rounded background. As a graduate of Goucher College in Chemistry, she began a career at DuPont and obtained an MBA at Drexel. Notwithstanding her natural strengths in the sciences and in analytical thinking, Jordan had always been motivated to reach out and serve and help others. This combination resulted in her obtaining a juris doctor degree and becoming an attorney. Jordan began her legal experience fighting for individuals' rights at the Chester County District Attorney's Office, where for more than a year she served as an intern conducting preliminary hearings in district court, working with defense attorneys to reach a final disposition of cases and conducting interviews of witnesses, victims and law enforcement officers. Her time at the District Attorney's office refined her understanding of justice; both for the victim and the accused. Jordan graduated from Widener with Pro Bono distinction, having performed over 100 hours of volunteer legal work in the community. After graduation, she became a Judicial Fellow for the Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia for the well-respected Judge Carolyn Engel Temin. As a Fellow, Jordan had similar responsibilities to that of a judicial law clerk and was given the opportunity to be trained directly by the Judge in the Philadelphia courts. The experience provided an additional perspective on the law. She observed and assisted the Judge in a number of courtroom proceedings and pretrial matters. At Ciccarelli Law Offices, Jordan fights for our clients facing the turmoil of family division, divorce and the legal disputes that arise from family law. Everyone's problems seem overwhelming at times and it's hard to see beyond them. Jordan believes in the phrase, "This too shall pass." Her goal is to help people see past their problems and realize there is a solution. She understands that helping solve issues is basic to peoples' happiness and well-being, and also basic to preventing future problems for families and society in general. She is committed to working hard to protect the rights and interests of others. The law is merely words and documents. What matters is how those words and documents affect people every day of their lives. Jordan's goal is to not only provide legal options, but also to share her thinking and her experience; to empathize with her clients. She tries to place herself in her clients' shoes every single time she has the privilege of representing them because what she does will affect them. It could be for the next few months or for the rest of their lives. She takes her responsibilities to her clients very seriously, no matter what the issue.
