Mr. Kennedy has practiced law in New Haven for 32 years, representing thousands of clients and trying numerous civil cases in the courts of the State of Connecticut. His practice includes representation of injured persons in automobile accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, and product liability cases, as well as other civil disputes.
In 1988, Mr. Kennedy, along with David Johnson, formed the firm of Kennedy & Johnson.
Mr. Kennedy is a member of the New Haven County Bar Association and served as president of that organization in 1991 and 1992. He also participates in the American Association for Justice and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association of which he has been a member of the Board of Governors since 1990 and is currently President Elect. In addition, Mr. Kennedy is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
Continuing Education is a primary concern of Mr. Kennedy, who has served as a lecturer to lawyers for the Continuing Legal Education Program of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and the New Haven County Bar Association.
He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court and the United States Claims Court.
