Kevin Kennedy is a litigation partner at Wiggin and Dana, and he has served as the Firm's General Counsel since 2007. Before he assumed this role, Mr. Kennedy was a litigation partner in the franchise practice group, who represented the Subway franchisor, its affiliates, and other franchisors in numerous state and federal court lawsuits and arbitrations. He has argued and won appeals before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second and Seventh Circuits, the Connecticut Appellate Court and the Connecticut Supreme Court, and has tried numerous franchise arbitrations to a conclusion. Mr. Kennedy was selected for inclusion to The Best Lawyers in America (14th ed. 2008) (for more about the standards for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America, please see http://www.bestlawyers.com/news/default.aspx), and has written extensively about franchising and arbitration issues.
Mr. Kennedy graduated from Connecticut College summa cum laude and a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and obtained his J.D. with honors from the University of Connecticut Law School.
