Attorney Harjit K. Sull is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area, and a graduate of California High School in San Ramon. Ms. Sull received her undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Sociology/Law & Society from the University of California at Riverside. During her time at the University of California, Ms. Sull participated in the University of California Washington DC Program ("UCDC") and spent a semester working in the Nation's capitol. During her time in Washington DC, Ms. Sull spent a great deal of time observing the United States Supreme Court, which ignited her resolve to pursue law as a profession.
Ms. Sull then attended the University of San Francisco School of Law. While at USF, Ms. Sull served as the Executive Business Editor for the Journal of Law and Social Challenges and was the recipient of such awards as the Arthur Zief, Jr. Scholarship. Also during law school, Ms. Sull, worked for Akay & Associates as a law clerk. Upon graduation, Ms. Sull earned the USF School of Law's Intellectual Property and Technology Law Certificate, in addition to a Juris Doctor (JD). After passing the California Bar, Ms. Sull made the transition into an associate attorney with Akay & Associates.
In addition to being admitted to the State Bar of California, Ms. Sull is also a member of the District of Columbia Bar in Washington, DC. Ms. Sull is also licensed California Real Estate Broker, which adds to her expertise and qualifications in real estate.
Ms. Sull represents clients with needs ranging from business formation to business counseling and contract review to business litigation. Her ability to speak multiple languages, including Punjabi and Hindi, extensive travels in South-East Asia and familiarity with Asian cultures give her a unique advantage in providing zealous representation to her clients. She brings the same drive and determination to each and every one of her cases whether it be a pro bono case or a multi-million dollar lawsuit.
Ms. Sull's interests are varied. Outside of work, Ms. Sull enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. Ms. Sull also has a passion for world travel and enjoys quick trips to new, foreign locales. Ms. Sull can often be found volunteering with various organizations, including the Bay Area Sikh Community and the Bar Association of San Francisco's Volunteer Legal Services Program (VLSP). In addition, Ms. Sull is an active member of the Queen's Bench, an organization advancing the interests of women in law and society.
Whether drafting a legal brief or skiing on the slopes, Ms. Sull adheres to her personal philosophy: work hard so that you can play hard.
