Kathleen Keeley joined the Law Firm of Yolanda V. Torres after being admitted to the California Bar in December of 2012. Born and raised in Pebble Beach, California, Ms. Keeley graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Spanish. She was an active member of the student body and participated in the USC Madrid Overseas Program and was a member of the USC Softball team.
Ms. Keeley received her Juris Doctorate from Whittier Law School and graduated at the top of her class in May of 2012. During law school, Ms. Keeley worked as a certified law clerk at the Orange County District Attorney’s office in the Target and Gang Units. For her two years at the District Attorneys office, she handled felony gang preliminary hearings, motions, and assisted at various trials. Ms. Keeley also has experience handling eminent domain, personal injury and real estate litigation.
Since she became an associate attorney at our firm, Ms. Keeley has focused her practice areas to family law, divorce, custody and visitation, and domestic violence issues. Currently, she assists in all of our practice areas and is an aggressive and passionate advocate for her clients.
Ms. Keeley is admitted to the California State Bar, which permits her to practice in all California trial courts and in the California Supreme Court. She is currently a member of the following associations:
When she is not at the office, Ms. Keeley can be found traveling, cheering on the San Francisco Giants, at the gym, by the pool, at the beach, or hiking.
