Becky Kcehowski has broad experience in complex commercial litigation matters, with a focus on corporate insurance and contract advice and litigation. Her insurance recovery experience includes commercial general liability, errors and omissions, property, directors and officers, and business interruption policies. She recently served on a team pursuing directors and officers coverage for a Fortune 100 company in a three-week London arbitration under the Bermuda Form. She also acted as second chair in a multimillion dollar jury trial in the Common Pleas Court for Indiana County, Pennsylvania, representing an independent electrical power producer in breach of contract claims.
In addition, Becky has experience in products liability, employment, appellate, and general tort matters. She has been involved in cases related to the Lanham Act, RICO, antitrust, and commercial bribery laws, as well as multistate insurance, fraud, and consumer protection statutes. She has appeared in both state and federal courts, as well as U.S. and international arbitral tribunals. She has prepared motions and briefs in federal and state jurisdictions and handled all phases of fact and expert discovery.
Becky coordinates the pro se ADR program for the Western District of Pennsylvania, matching pro se litigants with pro bono counsel for ADR purposes. She also participates in the Western District of Pennsylvania's pro bono prisoner program, representing prisoners in civil rights litigation.
Becky is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association.
