Elizabeth D. Katz, Esq. graduated from the University of Vermont in 1991, where she was ranked in the top 25% of her class. She received her law degree from Boston University in 1994 where she was an Edward F. Hennessey Scholar for ranking in the top 25% of her graduating class. She was admitted to the practice of law in Massachusetts in 1994 and in New York in 1995. From 1995 to 2007, she was an Assistant District Attorney with the Northwestern District Attorney's Office based in Northampton, Massachusetts, where she prosecuted various types of criminal matters and gained valuable trial experience. Additionally from 2000 to 2007 she was Chief Of District Courts and supervised office attorneys and staff. In 2007 she joined the law office of Katz, Argenio and Powers, P.C. of Springfield, Massachusetts where she represented clients in a variety of civil matters including bankruptcy and real estate transactions. Attorney Katz joined Ostrander Law Office in June, 2008 where she concentrates on bankruptcy matters. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Hampden and Hampshire County Bar Associations.
