Areas of Practice
Mr. Kathman’s practices focuses primarily on business bankruptcies, reorganizations and restructurings. His practice includes all aspects of bankruptcy, including litigation matters such as preference, fraudulent transfer, discharge, dischargeability, and other state law based actions. Mr. Kathman represents not only financially distressed companies but also creditors and lenders.
Professional Background
Prior to joining Pronske & Patel, P.C., Mr. Kathman externed with the Honorable Harlin D. Hale, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Texas, and the Honorable Jerry S. Buchmeyer, Senior United States District Judge for the Northern District of Texas. Mr. Kathman has also served as a student representative and co-chairman for the Dallas Fort Worth Association of Young Bankruptcy Lawyers.
