Joshua C. Stockton represents individual and corporate clients in multiple areas of the law, including complex litigation, class actions, employment litigation, insurance bad faith disputes, business litigation, and appellate litigation.
Prior to joining Brown & Gould, Mr. Stockton specialized in the area of employment law, litigating on behalf of employees for a variety of workplace disputes against their employers, both in all Oklahoma federal courts and before various federal and state administrative agencies. In addition, Mr. Stockton has spoken on issues relating to employment litigation on behalf of the Oklahoma Bar Association.
Mr. Stockton earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law where he earned American Jurisprudence Awards for outstanding academic achievement in his Civil Procedure and Legal Research & Writing courses. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma, where he was awarded the Benson Award for outstanding undergraduate research and writing for his senior thesis in American Constitutionalism.
