Michael M. Kaplan originally started practicing law for a general practice firm in the areas of real estate, criminal law, personal injury, and civil litigation. Attorney Kaplan learned how to try cases under the direction of a pre-eminent attorney who assisted F. Lee Bailey in the Patty Hearst trial and who obtained the largest Massachusetts Civil Rights judgment in the State's history.
Attorney Kaplan's interest changed in 1991, and he began to concentrate in personal injury cases. He joined the second largest personal injury law firm, with six offices statewide. While at his employer as an associate, Attorney Kaplan successfully tried various personal injury cases ranging from slip and fall accidents, workers' compensation claims, chemical sensitivity injuries, motor vehicle accidents, and boating accidents. Due to Attorney Kaplan's extreme dedication and aggressiveness, he prevailed in all trials in which he was involved. Since Attorney Kaplan had a reputation for being very tenacious, several Boston and Worcester judges started referring to him as "pit bull" and "bulldog" Kaplan.
Attorney Kaplan made the decision to form his own law firm dedicated to the aggressive, ethical, and zealous representation of personal injury victims. Originally, the Law Office of Michael M. Kaplan opened an office in Framingham, MA. Due to the serious need for quality, aggressive and responsive attorneys, Attorney Kaplan's practice flourished, which resulted in a second office being opened in 1995 in Milford, MA. Presently Attorney Kaplan is planning on opening two (2) additional offices; one in Boston, MA and one in Franklin, MA. In addition, Attorney Kaplan has provided out of state representation in serious accident cases, and is a lifetime admitted member of Who's Who..
