Mr. Stich’s practice is devoted to civil litigation at the trial and appellate levels in state and federal court. He has handled cases involving a wide range of commercial disputes, including breach of contract claims, non-compete and trade secret disputes, insurance coverage claims, professional negligence, products liability, securities fraud and shareholder disputes, real estate disputes, construction claims, and intellectual property claims. His trial experience also includes personal injury claims for both plaintiffs and defendants, as well as arbitration claims under NASD/FINRA.
In addition to his experience in private practice, Mr. Stich served as an assistant special prosecutor and trial counsel in Ohio during the savings and loan crisis in the 1980’s, as a special prosecutor in Kentucky for investigation and prosecution of campaign finance violations, and with the U.S. Department of Justice as an Associate Counsel for the Whitewater investigation in 1994. He spent the first nineteen years of his career with the Cincinnati office of Dinsmore & Shohl, where he became a partner in the litigation department in 1987. In 1999 he was appointed Chief of the Civil Division for the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office. Mr. Stich joined WGM in 2001. Since 2003 he has served on the adjunct faculty at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he teaches trial practice.
