Bill Stewart's practice centers on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law. He has represented private equity firms in leveraged buyouts and other sale and purchase transactions. He also has experience in the areas of fund formation, venture capital investments, and strategic alliances.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Bill practiced general corporate law in the legal department of National City Corporation. Prior to National City, he was a banking and institutional investing associate with a New York-based law firm in Chicago, where he represented borrowers and financial institutions in various financing transactions.
Bill is vice president of the Yale Alumni Association of Cleveland.
