Ms. Kaplan-Marans is an associate in the Litigation/Controversy Department. She joined the firm in 2010.
Practice
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Kaplan-Marans held a clerkship with the Hon. David Trager of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
During law school, Ms. Kaplan-Marans was a summer associate at WilmerHale. She also interned for the Hon. Joseph Bianco, United States District Judge in the Eastern District of New York, and for the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office, also in the Eastern District of New York. Additionally, she worked as a student prosecutor at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, New York.
Prior to her legal studies, Ms. Kaplan-Marans worked as an executive assistant to the director of the Republican Jewish Coalition and as an editorial assistant at Town & Country magazine. She also worked on various political campaigns including K.T. McFarland for the United States Senate and Patrick Murphy for New York City Council.
