Ms. Stevens, a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, was raised in The Woodlands. While an undergraduate at the University of Texas, Ms. Stevens interned for the Texas Senate under the Honorable Tommy Williams. Ms. Stevens received her Doctorate of Jurisprudence Degree from South Texas College of Law, where she was the recipient of the prestigious Fred Parks academic scholarship. While in law school, Ms. Stevens was a varsity advocate for South Texas College of Law's nationally-recognized mock trial team, earning a best-speaker award and representing the law school at competitions on the national level. Ms. Stevens also completed a judicial clerkship for the 333rd Judicial District Court, where she clerked for the longest-sitting judge in Harris County. Ms. Stevens joined Gauntt, Earl & Binney, LLP as a full-time associate in family law immediately upon graduation from law school and has number Amicus Attorney appointments in issues of child custody.
