Stobierski, John J.

Stevenson has been practicing civil litigation in Oklahoma City since 1999, concentrating in the areas of complex business litigation and environmental law. She has experience in oil and gas class action litigation, business torts and cost recovery and contribution cases arising out of federal and state environmental statutes, including CERCLA. During law school, Stevenson interned for the Honorable Tim Leonard in the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.

Stevenson received her bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University, and her juris doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law with honors. As a law student, she served as the Research Editor of the OCU Law Review, and was an officer of Merit Scholars Organization and Phi Delta Phi, a legal honorary fraternity. She was also a member of the Holloway Chapter of the American Inns of Court. Among honors earned at OCU, Stevenson received the OCU School of Law Alumni Association Service Award, the OCU Law Review Managing Editor’s Award, as well as awards in the areas of Legal Research & Writing, Constitutional Law, and Interviewing, Negotiating & Counseling.

Stevenson is a member and is active on numerous committees of the Oklahoma County, Oklahoma and American Bar Associations and is a member of the Holloway Chapter of the American Inns of Court. She is licensed to practice in all federal districts of Oklahoma as well as the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States. Stevenson also volunteers her time as an attorney for Oklahoma Lawyers for Children.
