Stern, Amy R.

Arian June is a senior associate in the Securities Department, and a member of the Securities Litigation and Enforcement Practice Group. Ms. June is also member of the Dodd-Frank Whistleblower Working Group. She joined the firm as an associate in 2006 and returned in 2008 after completing an appointment as a judicial clerk on the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

Practice

Ms. June’s practice consists of representation of institutional and individual clients in securities enforcement matters, regulatory proceedings, as well as in internal investigations. She has experience representing clients in parallel civil litigation, regulatory and criminal proceedings.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. June was a law clerk in the Fraud and Public Corruption Section of the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, where she assisted in prosecutions involving mail and wire fraud.

• Represented a former director in a Securities and Exchange Commission investigation regarding alleged insider trading activity
• Represented a broker-dealer in an internal investigation regarding whistleblower claims alleging regulatory reporting violations
• Represented a former CEO in a Securities and Exchange Commission enforcement investigation involving executive perquisites
• Represented a hedge fund in a New York Attorney General inquiry regarding trading activity
• Represented an audit manager from a global accounting firm in a Securities and Exchange Commission investigation of alleged violations of the auditor independence rules

Ms. June is a member of the Criminal Justice Section of the American Bar Association.
