Joshua Steinbrecher practices in the areas of agricultural and cooperative law, business law, civil litigation, commercial litigation, and general practice law. He also serves as an Assistant Brown County Attorney. He was admitted to the Minnesota State Bar in 2010 and is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Mr. Steinbrecher received his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Hamline University in St. Paul, MN, with a major in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy. Mr. Steinbrecher received his Juris Doctor degree from William Mitchell College of Law in 2010, where he was selected as a member of the Mitchell Fellows Program. Mr. Steinbrecher also served as a Legal Research Assistant to Professor Kenneth (Ken) Port, where he helped develop the Mitchell Study on Trademark Litigation online database. While attending law school, Mr. Steinbrecher participated in the Criminal Appeals Clinic, the Vale Corporate Law Moot Court competition, and served as a legal intern for both the Honorable Richard J. Scherer of the Hennepin County District Court and the law firm of Chestnut Cambronne in Minneapolis.
In his free time, Mr. Steinbrecher enjoys spending time with his fiancé, Michelle, walking his dog, playing guitar, reading, and following professional sports.
