Before joining the Firm, Ms. Stefankiewicz practiced law for three years in Indiana representing exclusively management in employment law matters including issues arising under Title VII, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, FLSA and in labor law matters including anti-union campaigns, representation elections, arbitrations and NLRB hearings. Ms. Stefankiewicz joined Laner, Muchin, Dombrow, Becker, Levin and Tominberg, Ltd. as an Associate in 2009 and currently works within both the Labor and Litigation groups of the Firm, representing exclusively management in labor and employment matters before the EEOC, the Illinois Human Rights Commission, and state and federal courts as well as wage and hour matters before the Illinois and United States Departments of Labor and unfair labor practice matters before the NLRB. Ms. Stefankiewicz also advises clients on practical, non-legal employment and labor relations matters and conducts supervisory training on a variety of employment issues including maintaining a discrimination and harassment-free workplace, documentation, discipline and discharge, and positive employee relations.
