Timothy Stapleton is an associate in the Commercial Litigation Department and a member of the Reinsurance Practice Group.
Mr. Stapleton specializes in the resolution of reinsurance coverage disputes, representing insurance and reinsurance companies in arbitrations, mediations, and litigation involving property, casualty and life insurance, and counsels clients on complex reinsurance claim and contract issues.
Mr. Stapleton received his B.A. from Syracuse University in 2000 and his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, cum laude, in 2008. While in law school, Mr. Stapleton interned for the Honorable John G. Koeltl in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and was an associate editor of the Brooklyn Law Review. His article, “The Electronic Communications Privacy Act and Cell Location Data: Is the Whole More Than the Sum of its Parts?” was published in Volume 73 of the Brooklyn Law Review. Mr. Stapleton is licensed to practice law in New York. His admission to the bar of Pennsylvania is pending.
