Mike advises and represents companies and individuals in a broad range of civil matters.  Mike's focus is on advising companies and employers on labor and employment matters, including matters arising under Title VII, the ADA, the FLSA, the TCHRA and other state and federal discrimination statutes.  Mike also has experience in drafting and litigating restrictive covenants and co-authored and presented a CLE on recent Texas Supreme Court cases that have impacted the enforceability of these covenants in Texas.

During law school, Mike served as a judicial intern for the Honorable David Hittner, United States District Judge, Southern District of Texas and for the Honorable Jane Bland, Texas First Court of Appeals.  In law school Mike was a member of South Texas College of Law's Moot Court Program where he won brief writing awards for every brief he drafted, including the Scribes Award for Best Brief in an Academic Year.
