R. Hayes Johnson, Jr., primarily focuses on litigation in state and federal courts.  He is licensed in Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas and Florida.  He served as lead or co-counsel in cases where clients obtained settlements or judgments including $4.5 million, $1.1 million, $500,000, $355,000, $350,000, $250,000 and $100,000.  Current cases involve personal injury, land and contract disputes, and consumer protection claims arising under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Truth in Lending Act, and other federal and state laws.

Hayes is a former newspaper reporter and editor.  He and his wife have three children, including twins.  He likes to cook, play golf, track hurricanes, hunt deer, and read.
