Laurin D. Johnson received her LL.M. in Taxation and a Certificate in Estate Planning, with distinction, from Georgetown University Law Center, where she was the President of Tax Council. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School, in Boston, Massachusetts. She received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Vanderbilt University. She primarily practices in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, and charitable planned giving. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the District of Columbia and is a member of the American Bar Association Section on Taxation, the Estate and Gift Taxes Committee and the Community Foundations Committee.
Laurin has been riding most of her life and is a Grand Champion and World Champion horseback rider. She has won many equestrian awards including Reserve Grand National Champion in 2010, 3rd in the World in 2010, the 2010 New England Regional Champion, and was the Reserve World Champion and Grand National Champion in 2005.
