Stacey Johnson's practice is dedicated to assisting persons responsible for managing another's personal or financial matters, including family members, licensed fiduciaries, corporate trustees or those nominated in estate planning documents. She represents individuals or businesses responsible for estate and trust administration as well as guardianships, and conservatorships for adults, minors, personal injury settlements and adult adoptions. Her practice also includes litigation in all areas of estate and probate law.
With over 10 years of legal experience including positions at the Arizona Attorney General's Office and the Maricopa County Attorney's office, Ms. Johnson has primarily focused on probate and elder law since 2004. She served one term as the appointed Attorney Member and Vice Chair to the Arizona Supreme Court Fiduciary Board. In addition, Ms. Johnson has served on the Probate and Criminal benches in the Maricopa County Superior Court as a Judge Pro Tempore. In 2011, Ms. Johnson was designated as one of Arizona's Finest Lawyers, as nominated by her peers, for her achievement, excellent legal skills and reputationMs. Johnson earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and her Juris Doctorate from Creighton University School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Johnson interned at the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska. Memberships include: the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Arizona Women Lawyers Association, the Maricopa Elder Abuse Prevention Alliance, Probate & Trust and Sole Practitioner/Small Firm sections of the State Bar of Arizona, and she is a member and past Chair of the Elder Law and Mental Health section of the State Bar of Arizona.
