A Bay Area native with family roots in the labor movement, Moira Stagliano began her career in the legal field working as a court reporter. After doing this for a number of years, she put herself through law school so she could be in a position to truly make an impact on people’s lives.
Moira has focused on workers’ compensation since beginning her practice in 1998. After spending the early part of her career working for defense firms, she joined Boxer & Gerson, LLP in 2002 and enjoys being able to help individual clients grapple with a difficult period in their lives.
During law school at John F. Kennedy University, she was senior editor of the Law Review, and won American Jurisprudence Awards in Family Law and Criminal Procedure. She also served as an advocate for victims of domestic violence as an intern with Battered Women’s Alternatives.
