William C. Spooner (Bill) is a shareholder at Spooner & Perkins, P.C. where he practices in the areas of workers' compensation and personal injury. Bill received his B.A. and B.S. degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia and his J.D. degree from Creighton University. Bill has had multiple lecturing and writing engagements in the area of workers' compensation. He is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the Clay County Bar Association, and the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys. Bill was selected in 2003 and 2004 as a Best of the Bar recipient by the Kansas City Business Journal. Bill has served on the Board of Governors of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys since 1995. He has chaired the Workers' Compensation Legislative Committee from 2004 through 2009 and was honored by past MATA President, Gary Robb, with the 2003 MATA President's Award.
