Angela was born in Charleston, SC and attended First Baptist Church School. Angela received her B.A. from Coker College in 1995 and her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1999. After passing the South Carolina Bar Exam, she worked as an Assistant Public Defender in Richland County until joining a large personal injury firm based out of Columbia, South Carolina in 2000. She worked there for approximately eleven years focusing on Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury type cases until joining her husband, Brian Johnson, and his partners at Bluestein, Johnson & Burke, LLC here in Charleston, South Carolina. She is a member of the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association, the Association of the South Carolina Claimant Attorneys for Workers' Compensation and the South Carolina Workers' Compensation Educational Association. She is a member of the Charleston County Bar Association.
