Thomas C. Spencer is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Philosophy, and holds his L.L.B law degree from the Washington & Lee University School of Law in Lexington. He also knows all aspects of Rockbridge County from the ground up, as a native of the county and a product of the Lexington and Rockbridge County public schools. Admitted to the Virginia bar in 1969, he has practiced law in Lexington – the county seat of Rockbridge – since 1972.
Spencer, who specializes in estates and trusts, is a Guest Lecturer At Washington & Lee. He is a co-founder of Lexington’s renowned Lime Kiln Theatre. In his spare time, Spencer reads omnivorously and enjoys a good game of golf. He has two children and four grandchildren, and resides in Lexington with his wife, Susan Harb.
